This course defines and discusses the lymphatic system in the human body and the major lymph nodes in the neck and face. It will also depict an overview of the history of the lymphatic system and it's founders. You will learn when to provide lymphatic drainage and the technique involved, indications of lymphatic drainage, technique, contraindications of lymphatic drainage, and the ins-and-outs of lymphoma.
 
In addition, you will also learn how to perform compression therapy and lymphatic drainage on the following body regions: lower extremities, upper extremities, axillary regions, back, foot and ankle, knee, sternum, wrist and hand, and the abdominal region.
 
Course Prerequisites
Must be 18 years old
Massage Liscense required
Come to class dressed professionally
Bring clean twin sheets (both flat and fitted), and a thin twin blanket if possible
